Our paths were destined to cross.
Ailsa had a calling to volunteer on a community project on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. 10 years later, Sas randomly went to a live music gig where Ailsa was singing...it was meant to be!
In 2019, we returned to live in the UK with our 3 doggies. Then, in February 2020, we tied the knot - the happiest of days!

On a visit to Wales, we fell in love with this beautiful part of the world. The land and huge skies reminded us of the wide-open spaces of Africa. It felt like coming home.
From that moment on, our whole life changed. We were so blessed to find a property with incredible energy and stunning views towards the Preseli Hills.
It was as if the Bluestones were calling us!

The whole shift in perspective inspired us to re-ignite the embers of our love for coffee. The Moka pot was back on the brew again and in February of 2021, Bluestones Coffee was born.
Here, we have converted our double garage into a wonderful, light and roomy space with it's magical view. This is now home to "Ivor the Engine", our 15kg, bright, sunshiny yellow roaster.
