Having lived through many differing coffee seasons on the farm, our experiential field knowledge is ingrained. We understand how altitude, rainfall, soil conditions, varietals, pruning, picking and factory processes are all super important in optimizing the nuances of each green bean. This knowledge greatly assists us with our sourcing.
We choose 100% Arabica grown at higher altitudes. We deliberately select farmers who demonstrate care for the environment, using responsible farming practices. The longevity of the farms, speak volumes.
We also care deeply for the people who work these farms. Their welfare is important to us. If they are not happy, then neither is the coffee!
Our goal is to develop and support long term, sustainable relationships. By establishing strong partnerships with farmers and their communities, we help to build integrity and transparency within the industry.
